Ossama is an experienced CEO, strategist, and investor with over 17 years of leadership across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and Europe. He combines strategy, execution, and investment expertise, having led companies through scale-ups, turnarounds, and major transformations.
He was Group CEO of HALJ a multi-sector business with over $2B in assets under management. He oversaw operations across 10 countries, led more than $600M in real estate developments, and implemented group-wide changes across finance, governance, and operations. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company and later founded Forás Capital, Ireland’s first Search Fund.
His experience spans private equity, IPO readiness, real estate, facility management, construction, logistics, healthcare, and education. He has worked closely with family offices and investment platforms on M&A, IPO readiness, capital deployment, and execution planning. He holds degrees from Brown University and the University of Cambridge and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Ossama is originally from Egypt and grew up with an entrepreneurial father and an academic mother. They both value dedication, hard work, and ethics, all traits they have instilled in him throughout his journey of life and professional career.
Ossama lives with his wife and their four children in Dublin. They enjoy family picnics, nature walks, and movie nights.
